This exceptionally rare salt cellar from an imperial service for Wilhelm II., dated 1906, originates from the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM) and is among the smallest and most delicate objects of the Imperial Era. Crafted from white glazed porcelain with a fine gold rim, the vessel is executed in the elegant double-shell shape – a particularly decorative and rarely preserved variant.

The decor features the owner's monogram "WR" for Wilhelm Rex, beneath the royal crown, a direct indication of personal use by Kaiser Wilhelm II.. Due to their small size and fragile form, only a few of these salt cellars have survived over time, making this example a true rarity. The reverse bears the classic marks of KPM Berlin: the underglaze blue scepter mark and the red orb mark, both with dating.

With compact dimensions of 10 × 4 × 4.5 cm and in very good condition, this object combines royal provenance, artistic craftsmanship, and historical significance – a true highlight for collectors of KPM porcelain, Imperial Era tableware, and representative objects of German history.
